Wonderful!
If only I could get your skill of using 'simplicity'.
The masking of the boy and the adition of the shadow is masterful. I like the addition of the bird on the roof - a final touch that just gives it that 'quirkiness' to make me smile.
Image of the month for me! |

I think this is excellent.
I tend to disagree with Alan here - I've tried to create pieces in the style of the greats several times and getting inspiration from them is fine - I've attached a Turner inspired view of Whitby.
It's so good to experiment and play - that's what it's all about for me. Well done |

This is my kind of fun!
For me, the smoke and steam are tghe things that make the image work and they're done very well.
It's a fine image to look at!
I agree with the previous comments about the dragon and the overall B&W - I've brought the dragon back in at a lower opacity - What do you think? |

An interesting image and a good description of the process. There are many ways to get sketch effects, just using plugins, but exploring the tools in Photoshop, as you've done, will be much more satisfying.
Well done.
What does Sam think about it? |

Very well executed, (although in UK she'd be fined for harming a protected species!!)
A fun compilation which you've done masterfully. The changing of the head on the actress was done expertly. Changing the colour of her dress was a good idea too.
Well done. |

I think this is superb. I would usually have preferred a background with more contrast to the flower, but this treatment has made the image so gentle. The eye is drawn to the stigma where the detail of the pollen enhances the focal point.
Well done. A beautiful image. |

Yes - I should have taken a bit of time and either replace the boat or age it. The boat is a light, modern, glass fibre model, used for easy launching off the beach. I should have looked for an old traditional cobble (also used for beach launching, but much heavier).
Thanks for your observation. |
