How about just painting some.
I created a new blank layer above your image, selected white as the foreground colour and the used a soft brush sized at 4 px and just spotted them where I fancied - if you want some to be brighter just click 3 or 4 times. Flatten the image and there you have it. |

Thanks Candy. I think I prefer the position to the right of the image.
I fought with myself when I put the cross in - I knew it needed something, but I didn't want to detract too much from the original scene (probably over sentimental about it), so the small version of the cross was a compromise.
A point of interest is that this cross is the tallest on the moors at 3.5 m (11 ft). It's had to be rebuilt several times due to it's exposed position - originally it stood 8 m (26 ft) high, but the weather was just too much for it.
Thanks again for your suggestions. |

We're keeping well (apart from the usual age related issues) and so glad to be in Yorkshire - what better place to be, no matter how you're feeling!
Hope you're all keeping well too. |

What a wonderful composition. You've treated this expertly. I think it's always good to experiment with the blend modes when new layers / effects are added - often they change the look into something you've never dreamed of.
It's good that you didn't asphyxiate her and bringing back her features from the original has worked so well.
Superb! |

Well seen and treated.
I think the larger space works better, but I'd be tempted to add a few more stars, or maybe a spaceship in the blackness. |

Excellent! Your planning and imagination are to be envied!
I don't really care about the colour of her ribbons, or the slight cutout lines - they pale into insignificance when you look at the image as a whole. Well done.
I take the point that some steam / smoke and / or a magician may help the image, so I've added some - a bit quickly, but it shows what I mean. I also blended the flood line, as I thought it looked a bit too sharp. |

It's good to capture abstract images in camera and this has worked well.
I'd have preferred a point of focus to rest my eyes on, but this shows what can be done without any post capture treatment. Well done. |

Interesting and entertaining. I take the point about the shadows from the earlier comment, but it's pretty abstract anyway, so I don't think it matters.
Some of the cutting out of the pianist could be a bit sharper - maybe the feather was a bit high during the selection process - but not really a problem to me.
Another surreal image that works well. Thanks for sharing it. |

I definitely like it! Your many filters have created a flower that almostr has a personality. Going further it could have eyes and eyebrows each side of its nose!
Did you stamp up between treatments or keep working on the same layer?
It shows that simple is often the best - well done. |
