34 Oct 17 Comment This is just such fun! You've transformed an every day item into a work of art. Well done.
Thanks for telling us about Hyper Droste and for reminding me that there are such useful tools to be used in simple filters.
I'm sure we'll have plenty of used spools to play with too!

34 Oct 17 Comment I really like this. Reading your 'how I did it' I can imagine the taking of the images and the playing as you worked on them. I'd take a camera too - there's much more fun to be had afterwards, which binoculars can't supply!
Thanks for the instruction - I'll have a play with them.
The only criticism would be the slightly 'out of focus' bird, but when you see the tiny part of the image you've used it's not surprising - Christmas is coming, so treat yourself to a longer lens (better than binoculars any day!)
Thanks again for the image and the process.

34 Oct 17 Comment I'm afraid this just doesn't do it for me - sorry. I can't find a pint of focus in the image, so nowhere to rest my eye.
Personally, I find that reading the detailed descriptions about 'how I did it' and suggestions in the feedback, are the most useful parts of the dialogue - for me, that's what the group is all about. I think I learn something new every month!
Thanks for mentioning the 'note' tool - I'd forgotten all about it - and thanks for the suggested website.

34 Oct 17 Comment I like your treatment on this, with the exception of the white birds - for me they should be black, like crows or the ravens of the tower. Obviously I'd have added eyes in the sky too, or Goths as you say, but that's just my personal preference.
I like what you've done and the church is amazing!

34 Oct 17 Comment You've made an excellent job of this Candy. I can only endorse what Jan has already said, except that I'd use a more suggested figure addition (lower opacity) and make them a little larger (sorry about the goths, but that's all I had to hand!).
I think you've worked wonders with the image. Well done.
