I'm working within the PSA guidelines - see the FAQ's at the top of the page. I've also had it confirmed by PSA journal for some of my articles.
I don't sell anything because it's all just for fun and that's how I want to keep it (apart from a book which is being published in November, which is all landscapes). |

All my portraits are taken at outdoor events, not in studios, so model release forms aren't required, although I do ask their permission to use them. |

Anthropics Portrait Pro is excellent - and not too pricey - You can change lighting direction, accentuate bone structure, eyes (including changing contact lenses and highlights) and mouth (including wetting the lips), add or change makeup, remove blemishes etc. I'd recommend it to anyone who does portraits.
They also do a programme which can reshape models - I haven't tried that yet.
I've got a couple of others (Landscape Pro and Smart Photo Editor) but haven't had a chance to use them much yet. I'll let you know when I do. |

This is beautiful. The flowers seem so 3D and you've made them stand back from the frame, so they appear to be outside a window.
The oil paint effect is so right for the flowers and the way you've worked the frame is excellent.
Well done. |

Well done Helen. You've worked this very well.
OK, so there are odds and ends that aren't quite right - the lighting on the tufas is a bit flat and as Candy said, the moon reflection could use some ripples, but it's altered reality after all and it's fun!!
Welcome to layer masks - the options for blending and compositing will open up from here. |

Looks like a lot of fun. You've put the elements together very nicely and I can't see the join in the tree. Well done.
I feel there's a battle going on for who's the main subject, because the colour strength is pretty much the same across the image. I've used Nik Vivesa to reduce the brightness, contrast, saturation and structure, then a layer mask to bring back the boy and the bird.
I've also cropped it to bring the main subjects more into the picture. |

You've got an interesting composition here, which you've put together well, but I agree with Candy that there's a bit too much going on in the image. I feel that the texture is too strong around the egret - I think it spoils the whiteness of its plumage.
I used Gaussian blur with a layer mask to bring back the bird and foreground, to give a similar result to Candy's, then a vignette to darken the image slightly. |

Good work Phil. The clarity works well - you can even see the rain. Only thing I'd suggest is a bit more care using the brush around the umbrellas - there's a dark shadow which shows where you've worked it. |

You've presented this flower very well. It's texture really comes across and the removal of the blemishes is good. The soft lighting suits the image too.
I feel that the image lacks a bit in the background, so I've duplicated your image and couple of times and used Gaussian blur / resize to change the composition. |
