Ella both renditions are good. I don't have any issue with you image, in fact I rather like it. I does remind me of Ed Weston, he did do a number of still life photos. Its worth checking them out. |

Hi Ed, prior to reading the other comments, I felt the the two "hot spots" in your image were a definite distraction. Once toned down, you have a winner! |

Peter the light level in the school was extremely low. I wanted the background dark, I will play with the face slightly to brighten it up. What I did like at the current level is you can see the details on the face. |

Thanks Ella for your comments. I am kinda conflicted regarding the second child ie to crop or not. I initially liked the out of focus image, looking on. I guess the group will decide.
