the haloing around the leaves in back are distracting.
Maybe a different blur would work better.
I do like the flower and composition. |

I prefer the color over the mono. Maybe if the sky had a little more contrast, the mono would shine a bit more. |

Love your butterfly and zinna! How did you get the background so even? I have heard of using matt boards, but don't think the butterfly would stay still that long to set up. So pretty! |

I think I would take out the moon and do a separate layer of the moon adjusted so it is not so overly bright. The moon and lighthouse of the 3/4 to 7/8 lines still work for me. The art books that I have studied have used those lines as alternates to the 1/3 line to add more interest and not be too much of the same thing. You remind me to go do the lighthouse tour again and reshoot them in digital. And do different times of day, angles, etc. I don't have to go too far from home to find things to shoot. |
