Personally, I would crop tight to the turn buoy and then do the same tree and water drop you did. That turn buoy tells me it is a race, where I am not much informed on water racing. |

I don't think adding the seagulls added anything to the shot. Love the mountains and glacier. Nice cold blue tones. |

I prefer the original. I think the blue horse trailer peeking out from behind the barn with the white RV helps to lend an air to today to the photo. |

I think a bit of a crop of the right side would keep the viewers eyes on the girl and her sunglasses. You do have to look a bit the see the piano keys. |

I too would have the flag show a bit more, and maybe leave the background dark to black.
Maybe a few less fireworks bursting would do it in the blend.

Neat photo! I like that the Canadian shore does not overpower the boat and ship. The lighting is just right too.
Will you be taking shots of the speedboat races coming up next week on the Detroit River? |
