That pink blush makes the shot sing! Great job! |

This is really an eye catcher! I love the contrast between the sky and water vs the green cliff. |

I did put a border around it, but no cropping. |

Thanks for all your kind remarks. No ND filter was necessary. We used a flashlight to carefully walk around with our camera. The northern gun slits let in some light, but not enough. The cannon room on the south side was very contrasty with lots of light coming in there. Maybe next month for that shot. I think the different colored light was from the grass and sidewalk outside throwing their color cast inside thru the slits. |

I agree with replacing the paper and wire on the left with more roses would help balance the photo. I love that you chose to only include the legs and shoes. It makes for a very interesting photo. |

This has a nice misty, peaceful feeling. I would try a 1/3 stop darker to see if the greens could be not so neon. The logs in the foreground and the wooden roots on the far side of the water sets up a nice line to draw the eye into the photo. |

I really like how you hi-lighted the eyes.
Does doing this much work on a nature photo disqualify it from PSA competition? I am a bit fuzzy on that. The moss looks really nice, but on my monitor, the feet are blown out. Sorry I cannot compare it, I am reduced to one monitor right now with my computer rebuild. I had one monitor set up for prints and one for internet viewing and that really helped with looking at everyone's photos. I have not reset my old monitor since I got my computer back, so I don't know how accurate it is. There is also a foggy patch on his chin/neck area. Maybe do a layer with a little "sharpen edges" or "shake reduction" in that area to perfect it. I know you are a perfectionist. |
