I like both, although the second is my wow shot. |

Great idea for the adjustable neutral density filter.
Lovey shot. Really shows the love of father and daughter. |

I think it is interesting. I might have lowered the effect a bit so it blends in with the edges. Or tried HDR then the glow effect. There are so many things you can do with a photo you like. |

I think the cranes are a little too white, s/b more grey or tan, to get more feather definition. Unless they are not sandhill cranes. Lovey position in frame. |

I love the glare the bird is staring at you. I did not realize that was a seed ring except for comments. The feather detail is great! |

Photoshop:
Open both shots in workspace. "Control J" to copy one shot and drag on top of other shot. Use "Transform" to match up stem. Use Mask on layer and brush out hand with stem. Use mask on other layer to brush out dangling hand with bowl. |

Lean on wall corner with goblet in camera viewing area. Must coordinate throwing water up (flip)with one hand and pressing shutter remote with other hand.
Hold the stem of goblet so you don't have to remove hand from bowl. Only 1/4 to 1/2 full.
I used plain water. Additives and color can be added after you get the flip and position down. Lots of waste at first.
That (colored water) will be my next try.
Not moving the set up, be sure to shoot several angles of the glass holding just the rim dangling down from your hand. |
