Mary Ann, Nice shot of the hummer.. You were so lucky to find his fair share share of the apple orchard. You did a lot of correcting of the background and cropping to bring us in to the action. It would have been nice if the flowers were a bit more indistinct and the bird a bit brighter but there was nothing you could do about that. As it is, it is a wonderful capture. I don't know if you had enough pixels to do this suggestion, which would be to crop way in so that only the bird and flower he was attacking were in the frame. The flower that is by his tail could be removed using the clone tool, so you would have only the bird and one flower. |

What a beautiful spot. The waterfalls make a wonderful foil to the fisherman, who is dressed in traditional attire. This shows that you can do great shots using the iPhone or equivalent. If it were me who had been so lucky to have been there, I would have taken a bunch of shots during his net toss. I think I would prefer to see the net in the air rather than on the water, but in any case it is a great shot. You were so fortunate to be there at that time |

I just noticed that the partial tree of the right on which I had commented, must have been in theaadff original and not in your final image. |

Hi, Rut, What a lovely fall shot. the sun shining behind the aspen is delightful. My only suggestions would be to crop out most of the sky ad definitely the partial fir tree on the right hand side. There is also the feeling that the trees are leaning to the right, but that may be natural from the prevailing wind direction. |

Ji, I love the attitude of you eagle. So brave, typical of being our national bird. The cage in the background could be removed two ways. One would be to fill it all in with black. T he other would be to darken it a lot using the burn tool or even just a black brush. You could choose the opacity. Since this is pictorial, we can do anything we want to make the image better, so I would get rid of the caged effect. The bird itself is beautiful and nice and sharp. |

Andres, My eyes are not good enough to give this a real commentary. I looks like a very lovely scenic, which I am unable to see the detail that I would have to to make a reawonable comment. However, the final product looks quite beautiful to me and I don't recognize the textures. Looks like it was quite subtle an work all for you. |

Barbara,
I just accidentally ran into your photo in another group. Glad to see you're still with us. I am reaching from a long way away. My eyes are very bad with macular degeneration. But I am still active in two DD groups and competing in Camera Club. I am using older photos because I am no longer taking photos anymore.. Give me an mail, if you can. My address is joan421@comcas.net. My computer is on its las legs so the email is a bit touchy.
I alway love your work. The woman is beautifully. placed and the red. robes are perfectly draped over the stairs.

Ian,
Because of ny bad eyesight, I didn't notice that the left hand side had been picked up as the head of a lioness. That makes all of the difference. I thought you had taken the same head and just distorted it somewhat and places it a an angle next to the other head. Sorry about that.

Ian, I actually remember this image. What you did orienting your final image so that it looks like the two heads are at angles to each other is different. Not bad. I wonder how it would look with the third lion in the middle on a separate layer which was partially opaque so you cld see through it. Just a thought. Otherwise goofd work.
In the meantime I was looking at other creative groups and there were very few of them. I wonder if they are having trouble getting and keeping members also. Maybe creative is out of favor these days. |

Robin,,
I admire yor imagination putting this together. T he birds going out of her head are a great way to express the concept. The textured background works very well. My only suggestion would be to crop up to remove the sculpted part of her neck and let her neck sort of fade into the background. This way it doesn't look as much like a A mannikin head and more like a real person, giving it more personality, In My Hunnble Opinion. Good work. |
