Ruth, What an interesting way to preserve roses. Your technique sounds interesting and useful. I'm glad that group members share their various methods of achieving exciting results from different techniques.. The lighting is beautiful as the light passes through the roses giving then a wonderful glow. . The roses, themselves, are well frozen, looking like roses in the air. Great job. The only e suggestion would be one of composition. I would love the center rose higher than its two neighbors. |

Robert,
Did I read ISO 10000? Wow! The newer cameras really can handle high ISO's. Sounds like you d id all the necessary corrections and cropping to make this a very interesting photo. Good job for first time street photography . Maybe crop a little more off the left side so she is not so centered. |

What a wonderful capture! This is truly a great place to take photos and this one was so strong, everything was well-lighted. It looks like blue hour, which is the best tine to take night shots with lighting. Taking it through the arch was perfect and the lighting of the column all around plus the shining of the floor works to perfection. Who needs a regular camera when you smart phone did so well. Thanks for entering this. As a PS, I also love the sense of three-dimentionality achieved. |

Michael,
How wonderful to have a place to live in Provence. You certainly took advantage of your location, which looks like it is deserted from the rest of the world. Beautiful yellow color of the early dawn and how lucky to catch the balloon in the distance. Your crop must have been right on. Jealous, jealous, jealous! Great shot, not suggestions for change.

Andres, I'm so gad you not ed the tracks and tge interesting squares design in then.Nothing wrong with using the iPhone as long as the photo works out well. The Bly thing I see that you might consider correcting is the blur at the top of the frame. It is consistent throughout and then suddenly stops. You might consider applying the blur to the entire image, then. use the gradient tool on a different layer to rgraduate the blurring so that it was highest at the top and maybe get rid of it altogether by above the mid point. You could apply the blurring only to the top half of the image and play with the gradient tool until it looked realistic. Otherwise, great capture and seeing. |

A very educational composite. . The end product almost looks realistic, so you have done a great job putting then together. You were able to get the yellow weeds so they stood out by themselves against the background which is now gray. .This is an intriguing composite that almost looks like I was standing there looking at it taking ny photo. Nice job of achieving that. . Since I have never been to the Badlands, I have no suggestions. Well done. |

Wow@ Your village does look like old Europe. What a lovely background The two young women look from a tine ago especially with the hairpieces they are wearing. The two suggestions of Bob Willis, especially the colored one are good also. The tamping down of the colors gives it more of an old-time feeling, but good job thinking to put these two photo together. |

Ian,
This gives ne a feeling of robots walking in step all in the sam direction. The tilt and the notion combine in a feeling that is very strong. THEY ARE COMING! To achieve that feeling, you would need the entire framem including all the participants.. Not having the top halves of any of ten aces it all the more creative. IC has been coning into its own late. Good job of bringing up the colors and making the final product more intense.
