Mary Ann, Cosunes Wildlife Presrve is near me, but I have never seen such a great rising of the geese. A huge flock of birds is one of my favorite shots to view. One recently won first place at our semi annual FotoClave conference that is held in the San Francisco area. You worked the corrections beautifully. Very nice that the birds are mostly sharp despite their movements. |

What a wonderful experience! Riding on the back of an elephant. My bucket list, which will not happen, was to ride on the black of a camel. Gotten too old for that.
I loved that we could see how many elephants there were at the Amber Fort. The color of your photo certainly matches the name of the place. T he long scene g ives is lots of things to look at including the nice shadows. The area in the distance is probably showing the pollution which is prevalent in India. Using the Diffuse menu in ACR will help make it look cleaner. Otherwise, congratulations for your audacious ride and giving us a great photo of the area. |

Ruth,
I admire your decision to with to bak and white/ Makes sense. I am wondering if there is a way to brighten up the entire image, however. The surfer means to me that there was a hpppy day of sun, sand and surf and that the whole composition could hav abrighyr feel to it. I realize it is at dusk, and this makes the brightness of the subject more difficult to achieve. On the other hand, the surfer could have had a bad day and the darker mode would seem to bear that out. |

Nice job of cleaning up the wore fencing around the birds. The r robins seem to come in big flocks in the spring to eat berries on many bushes. I like the you caught the birds in different positions and that one is flying in or out. |

Michael, congratulations on finding that sign. I find myself wondering if the post was part of the the no dog concept originally or not. The kid looks very happy with his stuffed dog. Catching the black dog below was very aurrendipitous and makes the total image quite comical. Good job with the photo and yourr German. |

Andres, The taillight of the Cadillac is perfect to my eye. I love the diagonal yet rounded path it takes along the surface. To me, you have chosen the correct composition for this. the only other possibility would ne to flip it horizontally and have the swoop coming out of the upper left toward the lower right, but your. choice is excellent. The shadow kind of makes this photos because it extends the subject to past the halfway point, making it look like part of the car. I love car shows.
Good work. |

Bob, Like it's entry this month, I find very little creativity in this image. Sorry abut that, maybe your winter blues at work. As a pictorial image I would suggest cropping out the log entirely and go with the flowers, which are very lovely
The only thing I can think of to make it creative would be to add something as a composite such as a tiny lady or lad among the flowers. . |

Rob,
Youu and Suzi. must have been reading each other's minds. What an amazing coincidence. Your version looks to me to be perfect. I love the large ma, who reminds me of Magritte's work, in the corner giving depth to the image. the sky, the moon and the birds all work so well together. I can only say congratulations to a job well done. Also, as an afterthought the colors of the gold and blue are complementary ad go so well together. |

Aui, I guess you are a fairly new member as I don't recognize your name and I see that we have not yet gotten a photo of you for your bio. welcome to this crazy world of creative. I really appreciate that your boiling bubbles came part of the sky fo he silhouetted tree. You might even have spread them out a bit more so the they mostly filled the sky. As for the colors, I have no problem with your color assemblage and fell that both mono and color work well. As f or the birds, I have also used brushes to make objects that one wouldn't normally see in brushes, so good for you. You could have possibly angled the birds so they weren't
t all at the same angle., but I'm glad that you changed the size I have never seen such even bubbles in boiling water. How did you get tha?t Mine are always big and little and bursting and breaking u p. Lovely capture of the water. I do like what you have done with the tree and other components. Good work. |

Ian,
I thought we had discussed this enough previously. Last month's entries were all really creative. To me, this is not. You have used only methyds that once can use to enhance a normal photo. I see no creativity here, sorry to sat. I hate to keep going over these aspects of creative again and again. It't a lovely photo but just making it slightly painterly is not enough to make it a creative image. Sorry to be so harsh, but I thought this point had been taken and accepted already by this group.

Thanks for showing me something else. It has a bit more pizazz than the original. My eyesight is too bad to see artifacts, so they may show up in other images as well. I am pretty far into adult onset macular degeneration and am trying to participate as as long as I can. |
