Kristi,
Your bulb looks like a view of the earth from a satellite. The white are cloud segments, the blue are the oceans and the orange are land masses. Even though your presentation is blurred, at the same time, it conveys the concept of Earth from outer space. I wonder if there are any aliens out there who can see it.
Good idea on your part. It works for me. I'm nut sure I'd do anything to it to make it more realistic. Maybe take the top off and make it into a true sphere, not a hanging bulb.

You did a great job in photographing the spider's web with dewdrops on it. You were lucky that the background was so obscure, making the web really stand out. As for the shape of the photo, I would keep it as is, much more dynamic. One hopes to find this photo opportunity without having to go all the way to Alaska. Really nice job. |

It is a bit of a strange combination. - the spotting, the fractalization of the leaves, nevertheless make it a great final product. The young man looks like he's resting comfortably in a strange bed of leaves. I'n not sure how I like the spotting n him; I think it would be just as interesting to have him just resting in the leaves. But great, creative job, as usual. Keep sending us your work. We love it.

Billy,
I think it's a great journalism shot even though centered. Your correction of placement makes it even better. The shot shows the kayaker's face so well, deep concentration. Everything is sharp but the water is really riled up making it look dangerous, which I assume it was. The boat being red also helps. I think it's just about perfect for journalism. |

Brian,
It's late bur I just relooked at the comments. I do like how you managed the black background When I tried it, it gave me a white area around the flowers that I didn't like. Thanks for showing me. |

Hazel,
The combination is working well. The name of the waterfall is particularly appropriate as you point out. The switch to monochrome helps give the feeling also The only suggestion I would make would be to remove the lines that are in there. I have no idea she they came from but the judicious use of the Healing brush in PS, set to Content aware could fix that easily. Very good concept. |

I don't see a color reversal in the window at all. I guess you were just separating the window from the bricks so you could add the interesting purple color to them. I like this strange juxtaposition because the window is quite fascinating in its reflections, the color of the bricks works well with it and the plant leaves are particularly grabbing me. Good that you got rid of the white area down below.
This is an interesting combination of reality and creativity on your part. Good seeing. |

I like both versions. The original would be a great creative image because the columns, machines and ceiling, are all fantasmagorical. Your final combination is also quite lovely, although it does not have the interest of the original, in my opinion. The best part of the final version is the red circular striations, which form a wonderful frame for the blue columns.

Banian, You Mande this much more dynamic using the zoom or options tool and the flipping and duplicating the car. Changing it to monochrome was a great move, much more sports-like. In this combine image, it looks like the two may collide, making it even more mail-biting. Good job!
