Linda,
I really like your perspective on this. Excellent composition. Too bad one of the flags wasn't the national flag, but you can't have everything. This works very well. Good seeing. |

The story is most intriguing. I agree with Linda about the foreground. The tree doesn't help, but there it is and no way to get rid of it. The use of B & W is excellent because it makes one think of history before color film.
You might think about straightening the left side using the Transform tool in PS and pull it out to a straight line.
Thanks you for the history of this building.

The flower really stands out against the black background. Nicely done. The center with the bee is incredibly sharp, which is great. To achieve complete sharpness of all of the petals, you might consider Focus Stacking. The bee, however, would clearly not pose for you during this process, so it is probably not feasible in this case.
Really a great deal of impact. Very well done. |

I love the light and shadow and almost silvery glint on this car. Very well placed in the frame and good that you got rid of the messy background. The only nit is that I can see a faint white line around the car which is the result of the extraction process. To get rid of it, you might try two things. The easiest if it works is to Select the background, reverse it so you are selecting the car, then go to Modify under Select, Contract, maybe -2. Then delete that extra area. You can fill it in with your BG color.
The more time-consuming is to clone out the white lines carefully.
In the meantime, I just discovered the Select and Mask tool which is in PS 2017. It may also be in PS 6. You can easily select the sky, e.g or background and adjust in the program how much feathering you want.
Very nice job in any case. |

Alan,
I'm not sure about the title, but I like the surrealistic approach to this image. Your grandson looks like he's really hanging in the sky and maybe some pleasure at having found a new way to travel. Good balance between the bird, the child and the clouds. Always the creative! |

You have done an excellent job here. Between getting the ball in the scene and the use of solarization, you have rescued what might be a mundane pj image. I love the colors and the reversals, but particularly the way the solarization makes the player stand out against the background. |

You have created what looks like a jewel to me in the walls of the gorge. A bit of a washed out effect caused by the filter bouyed by the green trees in the foreground.
I'm not sure if the noise in the sky helps this.
Good try, Barrie.

Very mysterious. The layering of the colors works well also. I does look like a man and a woman and I can see your title working here. The "man" and the "woman" have a connecting arch between the two of them, which adds to their intimacy.
Good idea that works well. |
