George,
An interesting tale of the flowers. I like the use of the wide-angle lens, but I do wish the flowers were closer together to give a more exciting impact. The shadow in the lower left is also a little disturbing, drawing the eye to that area. However, it is wonderful to see regeneration and record it for future posterity.

Your composition is excellent. Would it have been better without the red painted posts? Maybe. I do find that the two pigeons/doves are a bit soft as though you had to crop in substantially from a long distance shot. They have a feeling of decoys, rather than real birds. There is a limit to iPhoneography, after all. Overall, a nice shot. |

Linda,
I really like what Rick suggested. The lighting is great. The other chair photo was also very well done. This is a perfect composition. Congratulations for finding these chairs with the windows and seeing what great B & W shots they could make. |

Very well placed in the frame, presumably with cropping. That's why I always suggest using a wider angle (in this case it was limited by the length of your lens) and cropping in later to get the best composition. Nice and sharp. No complaints about anything here. Very nice nature work. |

What a beautiful child! the eyes and lips really stand out. Your use of those brushes continues to impress. I see that you erased part of the BG layer to let the child come through with flying colors. Is he a relative? I bet the parents would love this. |

You did a great job combining real life with the Picasso paintings. Since Picasso already had a strong direction toward surrealism, it works very well. Oh, that black object was a camera. I was wondering until I reread your description. Your artistic sense is very strong and definitely shows your wonderful application to surrealism. The egret is a little more obscure to me, but you have explained what it means to you, which is what counts.
Wonderful composite. |

John,
I like your concept. Great photo of the cyclists. It does indeed emulate an impressionistic painting. I have to admit, that in my opinion, it's still a little too much impressionism for my liking. I think the reason is because you have an action photo and the painting concept seems to stop everything rather than let it flow as moving objects. |

I love this composition. You went through a lot of processing to achieve it but it paid off. Beautifully placed in the frame and the use of the simple colors works well. The use of the Transform Warp tool really made this a creation of which you can be proud. |
