Well, very glad the this Amish gentleman was so kind to photographers. Well placed in the frame, nice exposure, gives a good feel of the surrounding fields. Maybe crop a little off the sky. Lovely pastoral scene. |

What stands out to me is the perfect exposure. Those iPhones! Well composed, just showing enough of the olives with the heavy weight of the white snow. What a contrast! I do agree with Carmen that a bit more cropping to remove the tree branches to the right makes it a stronger image.
You were lucky to get this opportunity to catch a really beautiful snow fall too early in the year. |

Lovely poppy and a very busy bee. Wonderfully captured, sharp front to back, almost like you used focus stacking. This must be the advantage of using a long lens that can be cropped in dramatically after the fact. We have plenty of pixels to do that. The composition is perfect! |

A very funny image! I see you tried to get the hands so they looked like they were lifting him up. A great idea, but not quite perfect enough. The light in the ceiling is in a quintessential position, giving him the crowned look of the king. I wonder if they kept that photo as part of their wedding album.
Good job! |

Linda,
I too like the B&W image better. As for the red heels, not necessary for my pleasure. This reminds me of an aviator's wings somehow; the symmetry is perfect for this. And I do agree about a light border to separate it from the black background.
Nice seeing. |

Very creative title. There is a strong feeling of 3D in this image, thanks to the wheel and I find the "eyes" necessary to the overall concept of some kind of devastation, looking over it. The rusted parts do give a feeling of an old car crash, which is now being discovered. Glad there are no bodies.
It takes awhile to really uncover how this photo composite melds together, but now I see it. Nicely done. |

A very pretty effect, the colors are wonderful. The addition of the boat was necessary or there would have been too much negative space on the water. Maybe you should have picked up one of the colors in the sail of the bougainvillea. The use of the oil painting filter was perfect. I really love the softness of the overall image. |

Alan,
There is a limit on the number of original images of three, so I was not able to add the fourth one. Sorry about that. |

This is certainly Daliesque in your putting together things that have no relationship to each other. I really admire the use of the strange hand about to grab the guy on the car. Not sure what the concept is, but you went to a great deal of work to attract our eye to a really unique image. I'm not sure if the windmill helps or not. It certainly adds to the strangeness of this composite, but the story might be stronger without it.
I wish I had your patience to put together composites that are fascinating. |

John,
I like the colorful basketball player, but the whitish out of focus area to his right is too strong for me. The audience is also quite nice with just a little movement and strong colors. I have no idea what you could do to improve it as there's no way to remove the white blurred area.
And I do like OOF images in general.

Being a cat lover, I am caught by this image. Nicely composed. The use of embossing is a bit different than the usual, so moves into a drawing arena. You've managed to outline the outside of the kitty quite well, and the yellow eyes really catch the attention. The pink nose doesn't stand out very well, but it's the eyes that count. |

Nancy, the feel of the photo is perfect for the 20's. The angle of the image and the use of the lightning bolt to separate a B & W portion from the original color works well. For some reason the mic seems to go with the lightning stroke in my conception. Very strong and well done! |
