Ir's a lovely image giving a strong sense of depth of field. Maybe you could have lightened up the foreground a little more, although it was very early in the morning and normally would be dark where the sun wasn't hitting the rocks. I like the puff of clouds coming just where your eye goes for the light. I think Arches is a National Park, not monument. Drove through it once at a bad time of day. It still has many exciting objects to photograph. |

Rick, another great shot with your valiant puppy. I took a look at Barbara's images wondering where she got the green leaves from the original image. There were too many things going on there for me, but I do like your doggy wondering where he is and the use of the Flood filter, which I recognize.
Good job! |

Your tree silhouette is a nice foil to the sunset. If you crop in from the right, you cut off part of the tree, which I think is not necessary. The setting sun in the middle is a bit static, but the tree helps with an unbalance and makes up fr it in my mind. Lucky to have been in Hawaii. |

I like him looking to the left so we encounter him on the way in from the left. The cropping may be a bit tight, but I don't hunk i'd change it. He is so typical. Did he charge you?
Very iconic for Cuba. Nice capture. |

Linda,
Sorry to be so late. I am under the weather for a number of things.
I like what you did with your selfie. Good creativity for a reflection. You must have been thinking to do it at the time or you would n't have had the huge picture taken to show what you did.
Good job! |

Your title helps a lot with the concept, otherwise we would have no idea. Taking an old boat and changing it into something totally different takes a lot of creativity and that's why we are here. There's kind of a cutting edge feeling to this, the broken shards of a knife separating us from the sky. Your use of the dark pink color in the boat gives us thought of another galaxy. |

Nancy,
I love this treatment of you beloved doll. I would remove the area to the middle left edge as it is the only spot on your creation that distracts from the effect. I see that it is part of her hat, but still find it a bit distracting. Her eyes and face are wonderful, and you have created a fitting portrait of the doll. Nice work! |

I'm glad you painted back the trees and surroundings of the chapel. It looks like a really beautiful one. I would love to see the inside. The effect you used does a real job on the stained glass, which is very attractive. Because of the day, the overall look is one of darkness. I would like to see it in better light. |

Barrie,
I like this overall because of the depth of field intent. The thing I don't like particularly is the strong white line along the ridge. Feels like an escaped lightning bolt. The overall effect is interesting, reminiscent of a Mayan ruins. |

Brian,
Perfect placement for the gentleman and even his gray suite works well because it doesn't draw your eye away from the fascinating graffiti. You've done a great job encapsulating the whole story. Goes to show that eyeballing can be as good if not better that computer manipulations. |
