I also agree cropping this really makes the picture. The bear in the foreground is saying "look over there, she's taking our picture". |

I like that you eliminated some of the branches, so what that judges don't like that. It made the composition better and you like it. The sky and light in the original picture seemed better to me. Can you transfer that to this photo. Then print the picture and hang it on your living room wall! |

Tripods were not allowed at the conservatory, which is why I tried many variations of shutter speeds and f/stops to see what the results were. |
