I like the leading line of the path going to the tree and then to the darker clouds right above the mountain. I agree to with Wanda that the very bright portion of the sky is a bit distracting and takes my eye away from the subject of the path, tree, mountain which to me is the most interesting part of the picture. I would crop part of it and then see how it looks. |

A great shot. The Loon is exceptionally sharp but I would crop off part of the blurred background at the top so that all of my attention is on the Loon. |

Your black and white version is interesting, but I think I like the original color version just as much. Maybe you could try blurring the background like you did on last month's photo. |

Yes, the burst mode definitely helps. I would crop the smaller tree off the left side and maybe even a little bit off the top. Then my eye goes right to the soldier with the smoking gun. |
