I like the way you cropped your image. It emphasizes a lot of angles: the dirt in the upper right corner, the bat, his left leg, his arms. I would try giving it a bit more contrast between light and dark. |

I like the suggestion from Stuart about lightening up the whites and darkening the blacks, but not sure if I like the texture he added to it. You were right on with focus as both flags are in focus and the background is blurred. |

I vote to include some of the structure to which the web is attached as it tells a story. Of your three images, I like best the one titled Original because it is a good composition and my eye goes right from the web in the center to the twisted piece of wire in the upper right corner. The white web on black background is technically a good image but it doesn't do much for me. |

Good job combining the three exposures. I think the best part is the sun shining through and the green foliage going down the long opening. I would try to emphasize that more with maybe a darker exposure for that portion. |
