It is a peaceful picture of a summer day. I would delete some of the sky so that my eye focuses on the rocks and the rippled water in front of them as that is what seems peaceful to me. I would also crop from the sides so that my eye goes right to the large rocks in the center portion. |

You did a great job saving this picture from the Trash. I especially like the way the purple flowers point up toward the lighthouse. |

I like what you did and especially the faint touches of pink and blue. How did you eliminate all the textured background which is distracting. |

Your original picture is just an okay picture, but what you did in post processing is excellent. I think it will do well in competition. Thank you for the info about the PSA online course, I didn't know about it and will look more closely at it. |

Wanda, I tried cropping and I like what it did. What do you think. |

Interesting how much difference changing the WB in Camera Raw to Auto made such a different picture. I prefer your original one with all the blue in it. I like the colors in the reflections but I would tone down the yellow sun in the sky a bit (not the reflection). |

Yes, the details are very sharp. If you had not mentioned how you took this photo, I might assume you used one of those apps that sharpens photos. Excellent exposure. |
