I like the composition but I would lighten it a bit around his face/head so that I could see his eye and/or beak better. |

I like the background blurry but I am not so sure about the color. It doesn't look that natural to me, maybe something more in the brownish tone. But I do like that you kept the grass as it is in the foreground. |

I like the detail of the milkweed and cropping out the branch makes a much stronger picture. I like the f/8 as it leaves the background gravel muted and it doesn't compete with the main subject. The only thing you might want to look at is the two white stones in the center of the milkweed. I would try making them less noticeable as my eye goes back and forth between them and the milkweed. |
