The diagonal lines for the background make the picture much more interesting. I'm not much into portrait photography yet but like the lighting and shadows of your portrait. |

I also like both images. The enhanced version would be good for a greeting card/calendar/poster. You did a very good job selecting all the fur detail and selecting the highlights and shadows for the texture, or did that come with the texture. |

Thank you for the explanation of what you did in PS and Topaz Detail. I have some of the Topaz apps but haven't spent much time with them but your photo turned out very well. The only thing I would do is crop some of the grass off at the bottom as IMO it looks better with less grass. |

I like the curving water through the weeds and think this should be emphasized more by cropping some of the sky out which I did in LR. Then I used the Dehaze filter to give more color to the trees in the background. |

All of your effort and staying the night, getting up early and taking it as an HDR shot really paid off. It is beautiful! The only thing I would do different is crop a little bit off the left side and remove the partial yellow bush. I feel that my eye jumps between the beautiful falls and the yellow bush. Or if you didn't want to crop your image, you could remove the yellow bush with either cloning in some of the nearby brush or use the content-aware feature in PS. |

I would consider this a good opportunity for a learning experience, finding out how the different effects in Topaz work and I have done similar things with my less than perfect shots. I like the effect on the plant, insect and upper wing and would crop it for more focus on the insect itself. |
