Attached is the photo with only Lightroom exposure adjustments and cropping. I moved the Highlights slider to -100, Shadows slider to +88, Clarity to +37. The original photo was dark because the camera exposed for the light buildings and not the person. |

I like the composition and the frame partially opaque that reveals the texture of the stone wall. But I wonder why the text is curving but the rest of the picture is not curving but straight on. |

I prefer the original image. To me, the light edges are distracting. I also like the idea of making it in a pano version. |

I like the composition very much. I feel it is a little bit too over processed and doesn't look realistic. I will miss seeing Ed's pictures and his comments. May he rest in peace. |

I also like the pose, sort of an "S" curve. Good lighting and as you said this made for very little editing. |

Your various enhancing techniques brought out the orange/rust in contrast to the yellow flowers. Excellent! When I crop a picture, I try to keep the 2:3 ratio or close to that so it is not obvious that it was cropped. That is my own personal preference but not for everyone. |
