28 Mar 17 Comment Apparently I used a round mask on the center of the picture and this is why the leaves on the left didn't get the glow effect. I then started over and made a mask just for the windows. Attached is the original picture and the new picture. The filter I used in Topaz Glow is Electricity II. I just got Topaz Glow last fall and haven't used it that much. The only thing I don't like is that it has no history panel of what I did. Mar 18th
28 Mar 17 Comment A great first picture from your new home studio. I hope Princess continues to be a good future model to practice with. In future pics, I would try to include all of her tail or else crop it off completely as I find it a little distracting to see just part of it. Mar 18th

28 Mar 17 Comment Your composition is great. I also have a multi-adjustable ND filter that I haven't used very much. Most of the internet info I have seen on using it is about nature shots, i.e., waterfalls, ocean waves, etc. Using it for people shots the way you did it is interesting and I think I will try it that way. 28 Mar 17 Comment I agree that a little more head room above the bird's head would make it even better. The expression of the bird's eyes is fantastic. It reminds me of the mad bluebird that was very popular a few years back. Mar 18th
