I agree with Wanda that the picture is nice but has much of it out of focus and my eye ends up in the out of focus area. I would crop it, too, and try a square crop and then put a frame around it. |

I like the tight crop. It is an excellent action shot. On my computer screen, the ground looks very orange and the green grass leans more toward yellow than green. I would check the temperature and tint sliders and see if the color of the grass and ground could be made more realistic in tone. |

I, too, have taken similar pictures but of birds seen from my yard and appreciate your attempts to enhance it into a decent picture. Sometimes it is too great of an effort and I would call it an interesting picture documenting bird/crane life. One thing you could try is cropping the picture thus making the cranes more visible. |

A well composed photo and the BW enhances it even more. I agree with Sheila that the roof could be toned down a bit. |
