27 Apr 23 Reply Becca, I use the latest version of Lightroom Classic. It has a feature whereby you can select a subject and then invert that selection (i.e. the background) and then you can adjust the background color and details. Apr 15th
27 Apr 23 Comment A very interesting shot which came out very well, considering that you didn't have much control over the scene, I guess. Never knew that's the way they do it (but then there are no balloons where I live). Apr 15th
27 Apr 23 Comment This is a cute image. As to your question about transferring images from your phone to the computer. I use an app called PhotoTransferApp. I have it both on my computer and my iPhone. You can transfer images either way. I believe it is free and I have been happy with it. Apr 15th
27 Apr 23 Comment Great image, but as others suggested: I would darken that bright spot on the right side. Apr 15th
27 Apr 23 Comment A very nice image of those birds. Two suggestions: lighten the blue water a bit as it gets a lot of attention, I feel. And also, lighten the lower part of the large bird so that some more detail becomes visible. Apr 15th
27 Apr 23 Comment A very interesting image. The guard in the middle looks somewhat artificial, but maybe that can be improved, as John suggested, by removing the halo around him. Having two main subjects is often not recommended. It could have been OK here, but there is no connecting between the two men, except the identical uniforms. Apr 15th
27 Apr 23 Comment A great image Brad. I like the composition (it almost looks like an ICM image). The color combination is very effective, the contrasting yellows and blues. Never seen the Metro looking better. Apr 15th
27 Apr 23 Reply Thank you, Lauren. My settings were F7.1. at 1/640. The mehta data did not mention the ISO. I set ISO to auto; it must have been 2000 or so. The camera settings today are not very important these days as I process all images in LR. I adjusted exposure and colors. I masked out the background, but did not want it to be a even black color so there is some variation in the background, which I like. Apr 5th
