The question is: what is the main subject? From your description I gather that it is the "sporting activity". In that case I would concentrate on that and have the bridge, however attractive, just serve as a backdrop. That would mean cropping the image on both sides, but in such a way that the boat is not centered. |

This is a very original idea. I like the contrast between old and new. I would not worry too much about the colors in the center image. What is important here is the depiction of history and that is excellently executed. |

This is about as perfect as it can be: the swan tack sharp and the water below him slightly out of focus to suggest movement. Beautiful. |

I like the diagonal composition and the contrast between subject and background. I would suggest cropping part of the bottom and deleting the twig in the right lower corner. |

The bird is very well done. Instead of lighting up the face somewhat as suggested, maybe darken the background a bit as I find it a bit too bright, distracting. |
