You did a great job in making this an interesting image. Reversing the image somehow makes a great difference (maybe because we normally look at things form left to right).I would not increase the contrast: as you show the guy, he is part of the crowd, the lone smoker. That already sets him apart.
A request to Jon: you mentioned the reversed high pass a number of times. Would you mind telling us how you do that? Thank you. |

Samsung might be interested in this for a print ad :). I agree with the others: that sign needs to be toned down.Apart from that, the buildings as a background for those red sales make a very attractive image. |

An image that grabs your attention. That intense stare, trying to tell us something? Excellent image, Jon. The color version is nice but it does not convey a message the way the monochrome does. |

I like this landscape image, its mountains and impressive sky. I would suggest a slight gradient on the top of the image to draw attention even more to the center of the image. For the same reason I would suggest removing the buildings on the left. |

Great shot of that happy man.Well done. As it was shot in a beer garden, probably full of happy people, I would have preferred to see something of the background too, like blurred or with a reduced opacity. |
