I guess I know who's getting the top score at the next club meeting, Mark! This is beautiful!

Thanks, Lloyd! I hadn't even considered flipping the photo but I should have tried that. Thanks so much for commenting! |

Thanks for the suggestions, Ian. I changed the color of the stile and like the way it turned out. I had trouble getting an inner glow to look good though. Each color I chose seemed to make the flower and the image less delicate looking. I also tried various borders but they had the same effect. But your suggestions got me to thinking about other ways to achieve that soft edge effect. So I tried one of the vignette filters in Nik Color Efex Pro. Do you think I went too far in blurring the edges? |

Welcome to DD24, Tom! I look forward to "working" with you!
I like your image and applaud your creativity! My only suggestion would be to move the large burst of light that is currently on the right side of the sphere, and place it on the lower right side of the sphere. This would place that spot of light at the legendary tic-tac-toe grid's intersection. |

I like both the original and the reworked photos, Jerry. They're very vibrant and colorful. I wish there were a center of interest placed off-center though but that's just my opinion - maybe a bird or butterfly resting on the "ledge". |

I love what you've done with this photo, Ian! It does look like a stained glass window effect - very different technique. I agree with Jerry that adding something could add to the shot but instead of a silhouette, perhaps a "stained glass" leaf placed in the lower 2/3 of the right side on the grass. |

I love your photo, Phil! The colors are vibrant and the composition is great! I had never thought of adding a black and white layer and changing the blend mode to luminosity. I'll have to try that to see what effect it gives to a photo. Thanks for the tip. I always learn so much from other photographers.

This is beautiful, Helen! Whenever I see a photo like this, I want to go out and convert my old camera to infrared. I love what you've done here! Very creative processing!

Another very creative image, Carol! I love it! After you explain what an HPden layer is, would you mind letting me know what new art action you bought? I'm always looking for new "toys" to buy! LOL
