Pam, your image is lovely and the fall colors are so vibrant. I had never thought of using the ocean ripple filter for a painted effect and I like it very much. The only suggestion I'd make is to enlarge the people on the shoreline - and their reflection - to make them more prominent. It's a great shot, though. |

Ian, I've found car rallies to be very difficult to shoot. There are usually many people surrounding the cars or other cars parked too close to the one I want to photograph. But it's usually a fun day anyway!
I'm not sure I like the textured filter on this one but I understand your need to try something different. I think I'd keep this a straight shot, possibly zooming in on one of the headlights and the line of chrome leading from the headlight to the side-view mirror. I wish I could offer more suggestions but I seem to have the same problem with this type of image. |

Jerry, I love what you've done to the photo. The crop was perfectly executed and the colors became so vibrant after your processing. It's beautiful! Your photo could easily placed in an art magazine highlighting this gallery! Well done! |
