I'm confused! The art work was already on the box, i did not create it just took a shot of it. |

Welcome to the group Robin.
I must have missed this girl on my visits to Hay on Wye as it is something that I, though perhaps not all members of this group, would point my camera at. Just a pity that her feet are cut off. Your combination of the other background elements has made it a little surreal. |

Joan, well done for looking back to your old images. This must have been very original when you first presented it years ago. It is still every eye catching with those vivid colours. I offer an altenative version which exagerrates the hight of the buildings. |

I see this as more of a technical exercise though the result is a good attempt. I would prefer the backgound to be solid black. |

Bob, you have transformed a snapshot into an eye catching altered reality image. using the blues has transformed the valley are into what now seem like mist. It is a half and half image where the sky is dominant and Gunter has offered an alternative version. I have taken it a little further by increasing saturation using only the yellow channel so creating a stronger cotract with the blues. |

Gunter, The creativity in your original was in your intent when pressing the shutter to use intentional camera movement. So in my book it qualifies as creative. Your reworking takes it a step further, as does that offered by Bob. |

This was a real capture not an already altered reality image.
I made the adjustments. |

That is your choice Gary; I have a different view about photographing other folks work. Do you take pictures of skyscapers, cars etc etc which are all designed someone else???

Great result from such a small potion of the original. A great expression on the bird. I thik that you were lucky with the poor weather as a bright sunny day might have brightened the backgound too much. |

A great image. I keep being drawn back to the top three window panes which present a tryptic of the countryside. |
