This one jumped out as I was browsing this month's images. Love the colours and the expression on the girl's face.

18 May 24 Comment You remind us that you do not have to travel long distances to find subjects to photograph. Good work selecting this small part of the original shot and creating an interesting background. The oil paint filter has worked well and I notice that you appear to have reduced the effect on the basket. Great piece of work. May 14th

I do like the painterly effect in this image which is a mixture of in camera work using the lensbaby (which I have never used) and the two filters. Perhaps the blurring created by the lens is a little too strong? For my taste I would saturate the sky so that the blue contrasts with the green of the tree.		 May 14th
