I think this does work much better, it is surprising how little changes can be so effective. |

I see what you mean but this leaves a large area of similar colour and this would tempt me to crop to a square format. |

Nor had I heard of crackalute Joan - can you enlighten us?
Your treatment works well, It is just the white keyline that jars with me especiallt the top right hand corner. Useing one of the colours from the image would I think be more effective. |

I enjoyed this image and feel your work on the warehouse image works well because it makes things a little arty. Perhaps I would have chosen to place the dancer a little higher in the frame so that the roof is not so dominant. |

I really like your three abstract mono originals but afraid I do not see them working well in the composite. For me the white swirly overlay just overpowers the flowers. Would it be better if the overlay was black and the flowers brighter?
But full marks for trying something different. |

Very colourful treatment. Might I suggest two shall changes? First how about cropping off some of the RHS to leave a square image - this would address Mike's concern about the empty area.
Secondly when I use this type of treatment which includes text I would just brush over it to reveal clearer text. Perhaps not necessay in this instance as Anna Lena is written large. |

Interesting how folk see idifferent things in our images; I would not have seen the 3 runners you have spotted, whilst Angela sees a coloured rug. I just enjoyed the swirl of colours. |

Jim, I do not pretend to understand abstract art either. I just enjoy playing around in Photoshop and sometimes producing images like this. When I started working on this image had no clear idea of what I was trying to achieve other than that my original snap was just rather ordinary.
Good luck if you try something similar. |
