Joan there is a place for your type of creative images and those that are altered reality and both are equally acceptable in this group. |

That is a great improvement as the face now appears to be part of the whole. |

A fun image created out of two very different shots by your creative mind. Could the face have been treated to some motion blur so that it does not just seem to have been pasted on? |

What a different era this is. Here in Wales at the moment we have big four wheel drive tractors and cutting machines like mini combine harvesters cutting hay and carting it back to farms down our single track roads.
A great image where your use of the simplify filter produes an interesting result. I have also found that that filter creates strange effects on faces and quite rightly you have brought back original detail. |

A very warm welcome Tom on joining our group and boosting our numbers. Thank you also for the details of your workflow.
This image is very much to my taste being altered realiy combined with dditional creativity. The reds and yellows work so well together and the texture layers are the added bonus.
I am not a fan of added signatures especially as they are expressly forbidden in international exhibitions. I do though note that you market your images and in that situation the artist's signature is perfectly acceptable.

That's a relief I thought I had made a boob!!
Perhaps that is because I thought your 'original' was so vibrant and colourful compared to the reduced pallet in your submission. I would consider trying to make some of the moon shaped droplets to be above the waves overlay - as presented they are all submerged. A minor point is that there are a couple og vertical lines which catch the eye on close inspection |

Very vibrant. I see we have both usesd Topaz Expressionism this month. Sometimes it produces unusual contrasts which do not seen to work well, as in this case it is the effect on the clouds with that pink effect. Assuming you ran Topaz on a duplicate layer it should be possibe to select the sky area and tone it down so it is not so outrageous. The other alternative would be to crop down to sea level to leave just rows of huts. |

Thanks for that tip Stephen, I had never considered using the technique on church interiors. |

That junk yaard would be photographers paradise for me! I love the eclectic set of images in your collage, though I would suggest some rearrangement of the placing just as you would do when preparing a panel. |
