4 Aug 21 Comment Guy, I have shots of Saltburn pier but none as unusual as your colour IR shot. The limited pallet is most effective giving a wonderful glow from the beach.
Will have to check if I have any IR but if I do they will be mono not colour.

18 Aug 21 Reply Hi Bev, pleased to hear you have been trying out this technique which produces some amazing results. I am finding though that they often score poorly in Salons. But what the heck they are fun and that's a big part of my hobby. Aug 20th
18 Aug 21 Comment Thanks for taking a peek Guy I have been fiddling about with flower shots recently and this is my latest effort. We may be up you way later this year so may be able to take up your invitation. Aug 12th
18 Aug 21 Comment If you had not mentioned it I would have looked at this image and said it was a great nature shot. That must mean that your creative work on the background has been done very well indeed.
I agree the crop is an impovement though perhaps a little off one side would leave the frog in a less central position?

18 Aug 21 Comment Very eye catching image. Topaz has worked very well and there is a simplicity to the image that really appeals to me. Aug 11th
18 Aug 21 Comment I was very taken by the creativity that has gone into this image and wonder why I stuggle to to think of original ideas - perhaps may grey matter is less active in my old age!
The elements have been brought together in a very convincing way. Personally I'm not too bothered that the butterflies are actually the same image pasted three times, as in my garden I would not be able to notice any variation between individuals. Great piece of work.

18 Aug 21 Comment An interesting image in abstact mode. Certainly worth a little more work I think. May I suggest that you clone off the tip on the bottom edge so it doesn't appear to be overlapping the edge. Add a stroke to hold together and try intensifying the bottom right corner. Aug 11th

20 Aug 21 Comment The panoramic image works well and the artistic treatment has exaggerated the differences in the mountain range. Loosing the bottom third of the original was a good choice. Aug 11th

64 Aug 21 Comment Very good conversion to mono, when many of us would have been concentrating on the rusty oranges of the original.
Itoo was distracted by the scrathes and wondered if cropping off the lower third (before using Nik) would be an alternative presentation?
