18 Aug 20 Reply Just done a quick mono version using Nik Silver fx and the Wet rocks option with minor adjustments. Does it meet your approval? Aug 10th
18 Aug 20 Comment You have created a very moody result with your clever use of the brush to reveal some details from the overall blur effect. Without that detail the result would have been less impressive. I also think your colour version is very striking.
The TV news about your situation with Covid in Melbourne is disturbing. I hope you and yours are keeping safe.

18 Aug 20 Comment It surprised me that your original was shot in infra red. When I shoot IR I am aiming to achieve a mono result.
your conversion works well apart from that jarring purple grass which I feel you might clone over wusing the rock as a source. The easier option would be to crop off the bottom edge but perhaps that leaves too little for the lady to rest upon.

18 Aug 20 Comment A smashing image Mike. Really like the use of Topaz on the background. I do wish I was as proficient as you are at cutting out objects to use in other creations. You have broken the 'rules' by using an even number of birds, but so what rules are there to be broken from time to time. Aug 10th
18 Aug 20 Comment A very effective blending of two images but as Jen says the base really does need straighening. I would have been particularly interested in seeing your two original shots as this would have helped us to see how effectivly you have merged them. Aug 10th
18 Aug 20 Comment Your treatment works very well and the sliced heads makes it more compelling. As ever it is the little details which I would suggest you consider looking at. Crop off a little on the LHS to remove that small ares of blue. then just clone over that white handkerchief which grabs the eye.
I agree with Jen keep the three.

18 Aug 20 Reply Go to panosfx.com to see a whole range of actions for Photoshop. Some are free but others you must purchase. Aug 8th
18 Aug 20 Reply Yes Angela it does look a bit like Starship Enerprise doesn't it? So something else for me to work on. Aug 2nd
18 Aug 20 Comment I think your comments are perceptive and agree that more work is required and I will look into the possibility of resizing some of the blocks so that they are less uniform. Aug 1st

81 Aug 20 Comment What a great idea and so well executed the colours and shapes work so well. Just clone over that tiny white spot bottom right to gain full marks. Aug 2nd
