18 Jan 20 Comment I loved this shot as soon as I saw it. To me it looks like a poster which is advertising a dance performance and the two layers are blended so well. Yes Mike has spotted that black streak on the face and I'm sure you can deal with that. Great work. Jan 14th
18 Jan 20 Comment Amazing result from your original - but you didn't tell use anything about your manipulation technigue - perhaps like me you forget to note down the various steps. To achieve what Mike suggests you might try to select the bird and the place a thick black stroke around it - worth a try. Jan 14th

Your building project combining varied selections works pretty well, although I would have tried to exclude the bit of folige which shows in the centre. It is a great sky but I see a few pink blothes which again I would consider renoving.Worth just a little more work I think.		 Jan 14th
18 Jan 20 Comment Twelve attempts to get it right! but you were rewarded for your persistence. Love the whacky colour produced from you frost pic. The branch {with it's alder cones?) does really need to be stark and dark to be an effective foil to the colours so I feel you have it just right. Jan 14th

18 Jan 20 Reply Yes I like the original too, but concious that many might feel that all I was doing was to photograph someone elses art work, I strove to put my own interpretation on it hence my mono attempt. Jan 14th
18 Jan 20 Comment Very impressionistic and I feel it works well but agree that the mono version is the better of the two. In the colour one it is that green streak whick I find a little overwhelming. Jan 14th
