Hello Guy,
A long time since we last met. Came across your image when browsing through the current entries.
I remember this bridge for our visit two years ago when I also took shots on my Lumix G9. Sadly the lighting was not as good.
This a a splendid graphic image with bold colours. |

The contast in colours between the blue/gren foreground and the orange sky works pretty well to my eye. However I wouud try to reduce the grren speckles in the orange sky and prehaps crop down to take away the more solid are top left. |

Splendid image! I just love the colours and your arrangement of the moths. Also photographic eye which saw and captured the moth whilst you were busy fill the tank. I would consider adding more space to and bottom to match the sides. |

You are right to remind use that we can be creative before we press the shutter and that creativity is not solely to be found in all those pieces of software at our disposal.
You have created a simple image which is most striking. Why did you not make it black and white? - that would have made the bird stand out even more. To be super critical I would also clone out the various little dots. |

I can see where you are going with this image as there are often wonderful shapes to be found in tree trunks. For me it is the out of focus are to the left of the 'nose' that lets this one down. Could you se some selective sharpening there? |

A very bold treatment which works well and seems to add some dynamism to the image. That Topaz effect is not one I have come across before. |

Angela,
Of course I have seen many images of storms at Porthcawl. Your is very interesting because you have not used the tripod holes that others use when photographing from what you term 'the best view'. Great capture of that sheet of spray and mono treatment. Not sure that I would agree with the suggestion on more space - it feels right for me. |
