How many times have we had lucky moments like this when not carrying a camera! Well done to capture this brief moment in time and then improving on nature in your manipulation.
Not worried about the darker foreground but three trees wouuld be enough. |

Another clever combination Tom. I don't have the patience to try focus stacking so cannot really comment on that aspect but Mike is right about the colour boost. Also a pet crit of mine is the double catchligts in the eyes - I always pefer jusut a single one. |

The treatment works very well Mike you have mastered this filter. What I feel your image lacks is someone/thing on the footpath a person, dog or rabbit perhaps. |

Not offended in the least! However this arguement about using other peoples work could easily be extended to many of the photographs we take - buildings carefully designed by architects for example.
Will be interesting to hear what others have to say. |

Andrew we were there the same week that City of Wells was visiting the North Yorks railway. We may have been on that train if you took it on the Wednesday morning !!
An interesting interpretation but the left hand side is overpowering and I would crop back to put the rail in the bottom left corner for stronger composition. Often when useing this type of filter I find it helpful to reveal just a little of the original and in this case I would have chosen the golden arrow on the smokebox. |

This one has really been transformed through your use of Nik. My inclination would be to crop off the (to me) uninteresting bottom darker area before you adjust to square format. |
