Yes I like the square form Tom but you seem to have lost the vibrancy of the image. |

Your creative mind at work again Marie; the inclusion of the paintbrush and fingers confirms that your intention is to create a painterly result. At present that effect only shows in the lower half - I would suggest that just a small part of the upper half have that treatment too suggesting that the artist is wrking on the whole canvas. The dark area in the trees bothers me, could this be lightened? |

Yes Marie I downloaed studio last week but have not had much opportunity to investigate. There seem to be endless options available and of course the ability to tweak the pre-sets to your satisfaction. |

Wow!, I really enjoyed looking at this image which is very much 'up my street'.There is a great effect in the windows. The inclusion of the two figures gives us a sense of scale.
I like it just as presented but it is an image which offers lots of alternative renditions. |

What amazing effects can be created by there bits of software, but with our assistance and imagination also applied. This image is on first look so eyecatching but then my eye goes to the light triangles on left and right edges. Jerry's suggestion of a squre crop would remove that problem. However if you were to do so keep all the tentacles and then resize to a true square format. |
