Though I use frames a lot on my creative images I'm not too taken with the one you have chosen. My suggestion would be to crop off the ornate edge so that you are left with only the dots. then the petal would be falling into space. The arty effect of the rose is very pleasing. |

I come into the discussion a little late. When I first saw the image my immediate reaction was that the moon was far too dominant and left a big black hole top right. Your redo has partly addressed this but personally I would move the moon further right so that we only see the silvery portion. Because of your choice of title I would like to see the moon and mountain more clearly reflected as it is lost in the watery effect. Great imagination and worth a little bit of extra work. |

What pills are you taking Jerry??
It's just amazing how you have transformed that straight forward tree trunk into this blazing splash of colour. It is so very busy and my eye wanders everywhere without finding a place to settle on. So I do think it needs something extra to add interest. If used as a background then I think it would require a reduction in opacity to prevent it becoming overwhelming in itself. |
