I liked the inclusion of the wall in the foreground. It is typical of the area. But... getting the bridge in focus has made the background fuzzy. |

Had another look at this. I cropped the picture down to this size, and used the clone tool to get rid of the mortar patch and the green leaves on the right. Different - but it depends on what you want to use it for. |

I wonder if it would have been possible to catch a person running or walking down it. |

The landscape immediately around the site was very rough and hilly, so there was nowhere level enough to mount a tripod, and nothing to lean on. |

Nicely seen and tells a good storey. Your color treatment has improved what would have been an otherwise flat scene. |

Scary, yes. You were there at the right time and were able to get her to perform like this. Full marks. |

Caught by the photographers eye. Well seen and recorded.
Many visitors would have missed this ! |

Using my slider to crop the bottom, I found that there was more harmony by just keeping the heads of the blossoms and the view beyond. Also, the scene would be improved more by cropping the right side to keep only the clump of trees next to the background. What do you think? |

My earlier comment seems to have got lost. I like the detail of this creature, but for the dab of brownish mortar on his chest. May I suggest cloning some of the adjacent color from left side of his chest to correct this. I agree with Sherry, it needs cropping more. May I suggest cropping the top down to the top of the pictorial colors and the right side back as far as the plinth beneath him. This would centralise him more in the frame.

Absolutely fantabulous. Your after work on the shot has paid off. I like the way in which you have made the foreground tone in with the overall effect. |

I have remembered that there is a storey about this bridge. Being the last bridge from England, if people were going to functions in Scotland, it was necessary for them to change into Scottish wear, Tartan, Kilts, Sporrans etc. Just a few yards up the road into Scotland, I was told that there were a few cottages, which were kept empty for the purpose, so that people could change their clothes either going or returning. |
