When I first saw this, I thought that it was some kind of boat, half submerged in the muddy water. Then I read the message. How wrong can you be ! Nevertheless, it is a fun picture to test our little grey cells. |

An interesting shot. At 95, it calls to mind an old saying - Boys Will Be Boys ! |

this is quite an intriguing revelation of what the original can withhold. There is a gorgons model type head, with two eyes at the top and a gaping wide mouth lower down.
Then if you look closer, just above that mouth, you will find the pink head of a little animal, with eyes, nose and mouth.
Looking further down on the "Body" to the left, you will discover in darker shades, another head of a monster, with eyes nose and forbidding jaw. What else is there to find ? Over to you ! |

We men went through two World Wars without being allowed to wear beards. It was said because of need to wear gas masks, but that rarely happened. The real reason was because of close living in barracks, on board ship and even in trenches, where there was the possibility of transferring disease, bugs and nits to each other. It makes me wonder what is in this man's beard. UGGHH! |

How about cloning out the hood fitting and also the motionless propeller and setting it in the background of a herring bone cloudy blue sky. |

How about drawing a couple of strands of rope upwards from the back of the chair to the top edge of the picture, to add to the mystery? |

Interesting. The game of this style is not usually played in the UK, where Cricket is the more popular alternative. However, we do have a similar game called Rounders, which is played by school girls. |

A very unusual picture. Cats, like other animals, usually have matching colors in both eyes. The overall sharpness is brilliant and capturing the different colors of the eyes, makes
for a different storey. Well seen. |

I should have added that if you were seen taking casual pictures of children, you may be reported to the police and taken to court and if convicted, you would be entered on the paedophile list. |

Would you prefer something like this, with or without the leaves in shadow? |

There is much said about paedophiles in the UK, which is why it is generally forbidden to photograph children, unless they are family. |

Yes Marilyn. This tells a better storey. You could even crop the top and bottom, more like the other one. |

She was a model I made at our local Technical College, using a cold casting method on my clay original. The Sculpture facility was cancelled, which is why I had to change and concentrate more on photography since.
For me the picture looked too flat with green color only on one side. I cropped some of the base, to concentrate more on the picture above it. |

I agree with you Shirley. If you slide the picture down on your screen, you can do a test run. Putting the horse and buggy in the center makes a better photo. |

A lovely picture of the little girl, with an impish look in her eyes. If you wish, you can clone out the spiky shoots of hair on the left hand side. But, then, that would make a different picture, not how she was ! What is her name ? |

The two birds are nicely sharp, although you have cropped the Cockerel's lovely tail feathers. Pity that the hen has lost her tail, but nothing you can do about that. Otherwise, the background is nicely out of focus and they are shown on the move. |

A nice picture of the two little boys. I cannot help wondering what they are looking at that interests them. The swirl of water by the older boy adds interest. How did he do that or was it just a lucky happening. Well seen. |

I took a copy of this intending just to darken it. However, on re-copying it came out lighter, this is what I got. Is it more suitable. |

This is intriguing. It sets the mind working. THERE IS THE SHAPE OF A HEAD AND SHOULDER AND TWO BUMPS BELOW.
How about entering in the circle, the shape of the head or face of a woman, if only in outline to match ? |

To concentrate more on the boatman, may I suggest cropping the top down to an inch or so above the treetops. He would still, be too much on the right. How about using the clone tool to transfer him to the same position on the left. A different picture might be to crop closer on him to make it more of a portrait picture. |
