I have now noticed that you said it was an egret. I see that the "stick" sticking out from the left side is, in fact the continuation of that going under the egret to the right side.
I thought that it was the legs following behind. |

A lovely, moody, picture of the scene, with a bird flying into it. Is it some kind of crane and is it holding a catch of some kind ? Richard, Group 23. |

I am always fascinated by the flight of ladies hair held in a tight band. This is no exception - perfect. Yesterday, I saw two young girls trotting along. Their "pony tails " were swishing from side to side. Tick-tock,tick-tock.

I think that both versions tell different stories. The original emphasises how encroachment has had an affect. The new version, centres on the windmill, and, in some way, highlights the effect on the couple. |

The cropped version tells the better story. They seem to be lost in the larger scene. |

So...if you only want to use it for Photo Travel, thereby hangs the tale. |

Brian. One short answer might be to use the clone tool to transfer some of the stonework of the tower on the right to replace the tarpaulin. That tower might then look the same above and below. Same could be attempted with the archway next to it. Then with a bit of ingenuity, and a small clone tool, same could perhaps be treated lower down. Finally, one of the "matching" arches from bottom left could be cloned to fit over the dark entry below right. Would anybody notice ? |

A separate, cropped picture of the four ladies legs would tell another storey. |

Having another look at this, I think that the original has more appeal and sharpness. I would crop the left to get rid of the bus and a smidgen off the right to remove the little tower. The poster on the left has a less distracting color. I also think that the extra people are relevant to the topic. |

I have to say that I first saw the couple kissing, but there is so much else to see. Was it taken in springtime, because I see that the trees are just coming into leaf. Then I noticed that the old windmill is all newly painted.
Finally, I saw the block of flats. I bet that they were not there when the windmill was in operation.

Hi Shirley. There is a blue one top right and three more red ones in the bottom half. |

It is a nice rural scene, with the pool in the background.
It is interesting that the goats are all in different colors. They are different from any that I have seen before. |

I see what you men about the white lights coming towards you.
However, you did well to get the trail of red lights receding into the distance.
To get a full picture of trails of both lights, you need to get up onto a higher floor in a tower block. ie. a tall building or a "skycraper". |

What a wonderfully sharp shot. Even the structure of the "nobs" on the tyres are exceptionally sharp.. Good Work ! |

This takes me back many years to when I used to travel abroad to take photos I never got a satisfactory picture of this. Probably because of the unusual shapes in it's architecture.
I think that concentrating on the people in the foreground,
has detracted from the sharpness of the Basilica. |
