When I first saw this, it looked so unreal as though someone had made it. The outline is so crisp and the feathers so smooth. Now that the dimple has been removed, it looks even more unreal to me. I think that it is my photographers eye that makes me see the unusual. Nevertheless, it was well seen and well caught. One for the record book. |

Having a bit of spare time, I was having a flip through other groups work, when I came across yours. What immediately struck me was your creativity. I am in England, on this side of the pond, where creativity just means to spot something a little different and then to point-and-shoot just to record it. All of your entries are spectacular, especially the motorbike. |

Yes Brian, but it is impossible for me to use it nowadays. It is too cumbersome. However, I have some background ideas for when the lighting is right. |

Marilyn. I went to Sculpture sessions at our local Technical College for many years. The grant ran out, so the facility was removed. That is why I changed my interests and spent more time on photography. You are right about the lack of sharpness. It was taken on my little Nikon P100, held in my left hand. My right hand is useless, but I am still ticking away. You may remember seeing my lady in the hip bath, which I draped with tasselled scarf and colored blue.It is called "In a World of Her Own" and has been successful at International photo salons. |

I have not been a fan of B & W photography for many years, remembering past times when we used to shoot a spool of film, develop and print it. Jan Lee of star and galaxy awards fame, has persuaded me to start again. As a result, I have to say that I now prefer your B & W version much more that the color one. |

Hi Adalet, I have attached another copy, which has the table top removed. Is it better with or without? Should I remove the plant pot as well ? |

I was looking through the Royal Photographic Society's March edition of their Journal today, when I came across a page entitled Photo Ventures. This showed small pictures of seven locations worth visiting this year. Guess what?? The top one was a picture of the scene you are showing us this month. The one in the magazine was taken on a sunny day, with clear blue skies and still water reflecting the blue of the sky. It is another lovely picture and has made my day. |

A word comes to mind, used in the UK, is bric-a-brac. Usually means a collection of small objects. Could it apply for the mixture seen here ? |

The detain on this is superb and the expression says, like one of the old film stars, "here's looking at you kid"! |

Something new for me. Interesting because I have never seen a white lion before. You caught the dreamy expression at siesta time, and his whiskers are so sharp. |

This is a fantastic shot. There is so much to see from the flowers in the foreground grasses through to the shimmering lake, then on to the row of pine trees and through to the mountain range and the clouds beyond. If you look through your clasped finger and thumb, you will see the outline of a bear, with two bright eyes and a snout. It all held my attention for a long time. |

There is a lot to dwell upon here. It gives the impression of being a place where pictures are displayed and sold. The picture at bottom right, reminds me of the bridge at Florence, in Italy, which has shops within the entire length of its walls. There is part of another picture at top right. |

This was certainly worth waiting for. May I suggest cropping the darker bottom up as far as that light spot, which would give more prominence to the wonderful sky and accent the water trails left by the ducks. WOW !!! |
