On taking another look at this, I think that your magic touch is still there. The fact that the background is so nicely blurred makes the Hawk stand out in front and it's rounded shape is more apparent. If you sit back from your screen, and look, the bird appears to be even more isolated within the screen. A masterpiece. |

I should have said "FLAT" and lifeless. Both are now at Exhibition Salons, so time will tell ? |

Compared to the second one, it looks a bit flt to me. The second was more vibrant. |

For me, the original version is too muddled. It's just a portion of two people sitting on seat of some kind. A full picture of both of them, would make a good mother and daughter record shot. I like your version of the legs and shoes. It is so clear and makes you think, like the old comedian said:- What's it all about, Alfie ? |

It makes me wonder what it is all about. It gets the brain box working. It reminds me of an old theatre popular song called "The Red Shoes". |

Here is another version. I have cloned out all the bright lighting spots to match the rest. It is a matter of taste which you like best. I have just sent the lAtest version to a couple of Salons - India and the USA. |

Something like these is what I was trying to suggest. I would darken the sepia one a little to make it pop out. |

If I had cropped it further, it would have spoiled the shape.
so I have now cloned out the offending shadow. Is it more to your liking? I have now sent a copy of this to salon in India.
Like you, I have got as far as EPSA. Another 1500 points for the next is too much. I am now on the trail of Galaxies and only need another couple of accepts to go for Galaxy 8.

You were lucky to get this shot. He's got his eye on you and, I bet, he was soon off. It's a nice pose and the detail of the claws grabbing the top of the post is wonderful. |

It is a good record shot I suppose. Not my cup of tea, as the saying goes. For me, it needs brightening up to give it a bit of sparkle. Then, it probably would loose the nature of the era. |

Hi Adalet. The topaz filter you have used gives it a somewhat painterly look for me. How about treating it with a gold or bronze coloring. ? |
