My experience is that, although we may appreciate images of photographers, many judges do not seem to reward them. Eye catching image, well seen - perhaps less saturation and toning down the haloes might work. |

Not sure that I can cope with the effect of the image - very striking, but perhaps not easy on the eye/ I do like the effect of the zoom in on the two extra images. |

We have been to Yellowstone three times and recognise this sort of landscape. Currently, as part of Liverpool City Region we are in extreme lockdown, so heaven knows when we will get out of the region, let alone get back to the US!
Image is perhaps a little bland. My wife had a go at adjusting the image, darkening the edges and trying to create a sort of pathway to direct the eye through the image, but claims that my mouse is too clunky - she uses a tablet for her photoshop work. The attached image is perhaps a little OTT but you can perhaps see what she was trying to do. |

Wouldn't we all like to see all the horse's legs off the ground, and the polo stick aimed at the ball - but these chances come few and far between! The expression on the front rider's face adds character to the image. Great shot - you were lucky, or or chose your position well to get nothing distractive in the background. Too often, sporting shots are spoilt by advertising hoardings etc. Well done. Remember the phrase - "99% of judges give the rest a bad name" |

I think it is an optical illusion, heightened by the fact that there is a large grey entrance on the left of the building, |
