Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
4 Aug 19 Comment Hi Ian
Like both images. I think I'll put my camera away when it comes to our Club "People" competition. The two dancers at the front are definitely the centre of the image, but the sense of occasion is somewhat lost with Bill's tight crop. It might be tempted to make them stand out by leaving them in colour but turning the rest into mono or sepia.

5 Aug 19 Comment Hi Barbara
Like the picture, but I think I prefer the colours of the original. Perhaps you are more used to bright colours in Florida than we are in the UK. Swans a nice touch!

23 Aug 19 Reply This one works fine, but I still do not like your August image. Aug 20th
23 Aug 19 Reply My wife took a lot more images. This is just one I grabbed! Aug 19th
23 Aug 19 Comment Have taken some of these myself, but never been totally satisfied with the results. It is very difficult to make it less busy. On suggestion would be to render the background mono - sepia? That would certainly make the main horse stand out. Aug 18th
23 Aug 19 Comment Not an M&M fan, but I would have taken this image. What it needs is to be cut out and placed into a totally inappropriate setting. Aug 18th
23 Aug 19 Comment Like the others I would crop it to make a square image, and reduce the dead space round the flower, to make the most of the beautiful image. Aug 18th
23 Aug 19 Comment I'm sorry - I can't cope with this image. I think the yellow elements are too obtrusive and too garish. Nice idea but needs toning done! Aug 18th
23 Aug 19 Comment Lovely image - well done needs no alteration.

One technical thing to do with Digital Dialogue layouts. An image like this with dark edges bleeds into the background. It helps if you put a 2px white border round the image using "stroke" in PS, in order to separate the image from the background as shown.

23 Aug 19 Comment We've been watching this near-most bridge being built on our regular trips to Perthshire. I'm not sure whether it's finished yet, but hopefully it will relieve some of the bottlenecks when trying to cross!

You've managed to get all three bridges in and sharp! Well done? Were you on the water or on land to take this picture?
