Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
23 Dec 17 Comment I see that others don't appear to have read your account and don't realise that these are two different images taken one after the other. When I upload two images I cannot over-ride the title original so that leads folk astray.
I can't decide which of the two I prefer - there are elements to both that I like. The one labelled "original" is certainly dramatic but perhaps it could do with a bit more colour/punch, but I also like the tree to the left of the main picture and the wider angle - so it's just a matter of personal taste!

23 Dec 17 Comment Good image - well done! Dec 18th
23 Dec 17 Comment I like the lightening of the rock which brings out the detail - perhaps you could have lightened the patches of snow on the rock to make a greater impact. Certainly the crop makes for a more effective image Dec 17th
23 Dec 17 Comment I think the rock is too dominant - particularly in the "coloured" version. Certainly I would crop the bottom and tone down the colour. Dec 17th
23 Dec 17 Comment I must lack imagination - I can't see any crocodiles or teddy bears. A great sky - you must save it and add it to a picture that lacks a decent sky. As a stand-alone image it lacks a base. Dec 17th
23 Dec 17 Reply It wasn't staged. We were walking round Sheffield in Tasmania where they have murals on most of the buildings and we found this bloke outside a café with his alpaca and just snapped him!
Filter was Oily Grime in Topaz with much reduced opacity.

23 Dec 17 Reply What we find is that you often need to reduce the brightness of an image for printing, but to darken for projection. Dec 9th
23 Dec 17 Reply Not quite sure what a panhandler is, but this guy took his alpaca for a walk each day. Not quite sure what the donations were for - perhaps for the upkeep of his alpacas! Dec 7th
23 Dec 17 Reply Hi, Richard. Although I am 20 years younger than you, I could still be classed as old and I have a white beard!! Dec 7th
